This year our plan is to use the funds raised here to complete a home with and for a local school cafeteria worker and her family. Both mother and daughter cope with learning challenges, and our future homeowner is proud that she is showing her daughter what can be accomplished through hard work and determination. by learning The family provides "sweat equity' for their new home by working alongside our volunteers and gaining knowledge of home maintenance and financial management. When the home is complete, the family will enter into a 0% interest mortgage through our affiliate. We can start accepting donations as early as April 13, 2020, for the East Texas Giving Day event!
